Job Description
The Pricing Analytics Consultant II job is responsible for executing projects in support of pricing for the non-admitted insurance business utilizing accepted actuarial and statistical standards, methodologies and knowledge gained through on-the-job training. This role works closely with management and key business partners to execute appropriate pricing, underwriting, and product strategies of low to moderate complexity to support business goals.

Key Responsibilities
Leverages understanding of insurance business, products, markets, and state-specific and regulatory environments in the creation of business strategies and decisions, building expertise within the non-admitted personal property lines market
With limited coaching, reviews and ensures quality of data used to perform pricing and statistical services within multiple tools/applications
Manages, and/or contributes on projects that are moderate in complexity and are of moderate scale using accepted project management standards, with limited guidance
Communicates analysis results to management and non-technical users, making recommendations and providing support for assumptions and methodologies
Uses best practices, with limited coaching, to perform basic to moderately complex analyses, using broadly defined analytical methods and techniques, including proper documentation and evaluation, to develop insights and meet business needs
Demonstrates knowledge in the use of data sources and applications to conduct research, including day-to-day analysis
Challenges accepted ways of operating to drive innovation and continuous improvement
Promotes idea generation from analytical and reporting data
Knowledge/Skills/Experience
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, VBA, PowerPoint
Ability to analyze trends and summarize insights from data sources and dashboards, specifically PowerBI
Creative problem solver, curious and inquisitive - can navigate a landscape with limited direction
Experienced in joining multiple data sources in varying formats and structures to conduct analyses (SQL, Oracle, Python, VBA, R, etc.)
Education
4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred)
Experience
2 or more years of experience (Preferred)

Compensation
Base compensation offered for this role is $61,000 -$93,570 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
*** Total compensation for this role is comprised of several factors, including the base compensation outlined above, plus incentive pay (i.e. commission, bonus, etc.) as applicable for the role.
