Job Description
This role is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing projects and initiatives within a subset of a field discipline that aligns with claims strategic direction and supports strategic goals. The TCL manages a subset of the operations of a team within a market claim office (MCO), typically with an excess of 125 employees, including leading, training, inspiring, engaging and motivating leaders and employees in one or more business segments with a focus on collaboration, innovation, and customer centricity.

This role requires at least 7 years of experience leading a team of litigation adjusters.

This role involves the managing of catastrophic injury claims across multiple states and venues on policy limits less than $250,000. The ideal candidate will have a heightened risk awareness and extensive leadership experience managing these types of large loss bodily injury claims as well as navigating cases which may involve bad faith allegations.

Preference to those who have experience handling bodily injury exposures as outlined above in California, Washington, and Nevada claims. Candidates located in Pacific or Mountain time zones preferred.

Manages and resolves escalated customer communications, concerns, conflicts or issues

Accountable for human resources duties, including resource management, hiring, performance management, talent development and compensation planning

Responsible for complex claim decisions, identification of hiring, training, and succession planning opportunities, and the development and implementation of short- and long-term strategies and process improvements to achieve corporate financial outcomes

Analyzes results and contributes to the development of strategies and action plans to support the achievement of operational goals related to customer service, loss cost management, and expense controls

Pay Transparency:

The base range offered for the role is $78,600.00--$126.410.00 and may vary based on internal equity, and job-related skills, knowledge, and experience; among other factors. Other financial components may be added as part of the competitive compensation package, in addition to a full range of benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
