This position will work with the Distributor Operations Manager to ensure consistent and premium brand presentation, operational excellence and merchandising selection in each distributor partner market. As the role is heavy in data analytics, you enjoy working with large data sets and are very comfortable in both Excel and Google sheets. You will own the Distributors monthly order cycle and ensure orders are accurately placed in Allbirds order management system (SAP). You are also strongly customer service oriented, both internally and externally. You will work closely with Allbirds Planning, Tech and Asia Ops teams, while also providing exceptional customer service and support to each of our Distributor partners, with main focus in the EMEA regions. This may require a few early mornings each month!
What You'll Do:
- Support Distributor monthly order books
- Monthly Buy Calendar/Order Form management, for all regional Distributors
- Send and collect monthly orders forms for each distributor
- Ensure Order accuracy, based on minimum requirements
- Ensure Orders are placed with factories by pre-determined deadlines
- In partnership with Planning teams
- Publish Monthly Buy Calendar
- Advocate for full Merchandising selection
- Capture merchandise changes timely, for accurate order submissions
- In partnership with Asia and US teammate
- Review/Track Weekly Reporting
- Advocate changes to better support EMEA Distributors
- Delay communication
- Main point of contact for all EMEA Distributors
- Manage ad-hoc order requests
- Manage product and supply questions
- Ensure EMEA Distributors have full operational support
- May support US factory orders in partnership with Asia Operations
Qualifications
- BA/BS or equivalent
- 2+ years working in a professional environment for an Internationally minded company.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Comfortable and excited to operate in a scrappy environment, working to remove the ambiguity and establish scalable processes and ways of working.
- Expert in Microsoft Office and Google Drive; advanced Excel skills
- A proactive thinker with attention to detail
- Ability to both think strategically and execute tactically, a persistent attention to detail, and a high level of comfort in working with numbers.
- Knowledge of ERP systems/SAP a plus.
- Able to work independently with minimal direction
- Passion for sustainability and a genuine interest in Allbirds' mission.
Work Environment
Work takes place in an office setting. This job may require working more than 8 hours daily and 40 hours weekly. It requires sitting and working at a computer for extended periods and communicating effectively with a diverse audience in person, by phone, and by computer. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift, push, and carry up to 10 lbs frequently and up to 15 lbs occasionally.
What do we offer?
This position is based in San Francisco, CA and is in office 3X per week. The pay range for this role is: $90 - $100K. Allbirds routinely evaluates pay rates, and the ranges are subject to change based on market rates and other considerations. We factor in a number of components when determining starting pay, including the job and level you are hired into, location, skillset, experience and peer compensation.
