We are seeking a seasoned Java Developer who not only excels in technical expertise but has the learning agility and versatility to learn technology outside their specialty to improve delivery . The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Java and its ecosystem, with a knack for applying this knowledge across a range of responsibilities and technological domains.

This position is designed for a Java developer who is ready to take on projects while pushing the boundaries of technology and innovation. Core Responsibilities:

• Application Support : Provide support to applications through problem-solving, application enhancements, upgrades, and maintenance. A robust understanding of Java applications and their ecosystems is crucial.
• Server Management Expertise : Ensure server integrity through upgrades, certificate updates, and keystore management, with a focus on Java-based server applications.
• Strategic Development Initiatives : Spearhead support strategies that incorporate Java development, aligning with both business objectives and technological advancements.
• Advanced Problem-Solving : Tackle complex challenges across various technological domains, setting performance benchmarks and leveraging Java among other technologies.

Required Java Expertise:

• Java Core Development : Profound knowledge in Java, including experience with Spring and Spring Boot, essential for crafting scalable modern applications.
• Database Design Proficiency : Skills in both relational and non-relational database design are vital, especially when integrated with Java applications.

Additional Technical Skills:

• Cloud and AWS Proficiency : Essential for debugging, deploying and managing Java applications within cloud environments.
• Infrastructure Automation Tools : Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and familiarity with Linux server support.
• Data Management : Advanced knowledge in managing data formats (JSON, XML, CSV) and developing RESTful services using Java.
• Development Operations : Proficiency in GIT, continuous integration tools (Jenkins, Jira, Artifactory), and enhancing Java development workflows.

• Agile Methodology : Strong foundation in Agile principles to adapt to iterative and fast-paced development processes.
• Communication and Analytical Skills : Exceptional abilities in both verbal and written communication, coupled with stellar analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Math, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) or equivalent experience, with a Master's Degree being a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in designing complex technical solutions, with a preference for candidates with at least 3 years of experience in Cloud Technologies and Java Programming.

143,100 USD
