The Difference You Will Make:

We're looking for a Senior HR Business Partner (Senior Talent Business Partner at Airbnb) who will be a strategic partner to our teams across the globe.

You’ll act as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to senior leaders, helping shape and execute a people strategy that drives performance, engagement and innovation. You’ll also coach and influence managers, roll up your sleeves to solve challenges and connect the dots across global teams and initiatives. This role reports to the Talent Director for the group.

A Typical Day:

  • Partner directly with global leaders (across EMEA, APAC and the Americas) to shape and execute a localized people strategy that anticipates business needs, unlocks growth and aligns with regional realities, balancing global consistency with local relevance.
  • Act as a strategic advisor and operator, co-driving critical initiatives such as org design, leadership capability building, workforce planning and change management, with a bias toward fast, business-relevant execution.
  • Translate talent strategy into action by embedding yourself in the rhythm of the business, co-creating operating plans with senior leaders and ensuring Talent priorities are embedded into the day-to-day work of high-performing, entrepreneurial teams.
  • Lead through complexity, navigating ambiguity, proactively mitigating risks and creating clarity during organizational change; ensure seamless execution across functions by coordinating closely with COEs and other enabling teams.
  • Coach and develop leaders at all levels, not just on performance, but on shaping culture, navigating scale and building teams that reflect Airbnb’s values and business ambition.
  • Own critical moments, from sensitive ER issues to engagement surveys and performance calibration, ensuring outcomes are thoughtful, data-informed and aligned to business goals.

Collaboration:

  • Work hand-in-hand with Recruiting to shape hiring strategies that reflect market needs, team dynamics  and long-term talent bets, ensuring a seamless, high-quality candidate experience at every stage.
  • Partner with Total Rewards to advise on compensation, offers and internal mobility decisions, grounded in business context and local market intelligence.
  • Collaborate closely with Legal and Employee Relations to manage sensitive matters with care and compliance, balancing business risk and employee trust.
  • Support and guide Talent Management cycles, from performance reviews to talent management, ensuring they are timely, fair and anchored in business priorities.
  • Bring cross-functional insights together (from L&D, Rewards, DEI and more) to deliver people solutions that are both globally aligned and locally impactful.

Your Expertise:

  • Proven HR leadership with 15+ years of experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments. Skilled at navigating complexity, scaling organizations and driving talent strategies that enable business performance.
  • Global perspective with local execution muscle. Adept at supporting regional teams across diverse markets and turning strategy into action on the ground.
  • Deep expertise across the people lifecycle from engagement, performance and org design to ER, coaching, compensation and talent planning.
  • Strong operator and trusted advisor, equally comfortable building programs from scratch, influencing top leaders  or guiding teams through ambiguity and change.
Analytical and decisive. Able to interpret data, sense patterns early and anticipate the needs of the business before they surface.
