The HRIS Demand Management team is criticalto helping us smartly delivery creative solutions that positively contribute to the associate experience. The Manager of this team will be expected to plan, direct and manage HR Demand Management activities in support of ADUSA, local and Global IT, HR and Brand Leadership. Direct, motivate and develop the HR Demand Management team to maximize the contributions and positively impact business outcomes. Build HR Demand Management bench strength and continually improve the HR user experience and Brand effectiveness by managing the HR Systems demand process from intake through execution.
Examples of duties and responsibilities include:
- Direct daily operations of the HRIS Demand department, establishing priorities, developing standards and setting deadlines.
- Primary liaison between Brands and global Product Owner and Enterprise Platform Teams, providing US process, requirements, and functional HR expertise to deliver operational initiatives that drive business performance.
- Accountable for all US HR System related Demand, from intake through US Prioritization, and monitoring execution via multiple delivery paths -
- Primary Business Services point person for all HR System demand, including US & Global prioritization, requirements knowledge, and thorough understanding of overall demand framework, including the key problems trying to be solved.
- Works with user groups in the HR organization to define HR System needs and resource requirements. Works with Global Product Owner and Enterprise Platform Teams local and global IT to develop proposed solutions and plans. Monitors implementation and operation of approved operational US HR projects and initiatives.
- Partner with local and Global IT to build requirements within the demand management process, assigning priority based on value and resource availability.
- Establish demand framework, develop demand roadmap, and establish US prioritization processes in conjunction with Global HR Tech, Data Innovation & Associate Experience and Global Enterprise Platforms HR, Regional IT, Business Services Leaders, department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of the business processes related to all relevant systems. Leads identification of HR System process weaknesses in conjunction with Brand input and partners with the Design and global teams to drive them through the prioritization and global demand processes.
- Demonstrate an understanding of functionality, maintenance and support of the core HR systems
- Provide US input on the impact assessment for SAP half yearly releases and providing support to the HR Operations team in defining and delivering testing requirements.
- Participates in Global Governance and Strategy Committees representing US Demand interests.
- Create US demand structure process with local and global IT, Product Owners, and Heads of Tech to incorporate standards, capture interrelated processes, and create a US prioritization process that effectively captures and delivers against business requirements.
- Assign and review the work of HR Demand Management team. Estimate and evaluate effort for scheduled projects and Business as Usual operational changes.
- Leads team to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications, business customer support, Business Services Resource management and demand management protocol development.
- Provide Business Services, Brands, and Portfolio Leads with US Demand Management model and process support for managing and prioritizing all US HR demand - local, regional, global - across all HR System domains.
- Develop standards and controls for US Demand Management and Prioritization that ensures a complete end to end demand management process from initiation through closure - regardless of delivery ownership. Accountable for having the team establish a comprehensive demand management plan with guidelines on actions to be taken for requirements gathering, progress monitoring, and value reporting.

- Recruit, hire, train and supervise staff, leading staffing decisions for 7-15 direct and indirect reports
- Provide coaching and training opportunities for HR Demand Management staff to ensure solid succession planning.
- Stay abreast of external advances in HR demand management processes and tools, along with internal local and global HR and IT prioritization processes and workflows.
- Consult with users, brands, Business Services leads, Product Owners, and Heads of Tech to assess US HR Demand Management Process and Prioritization needs.
- Manage functional review activities to include creating business requirements standards, demand management checklists, resolving business process questions and concerns, and making improvement recommendations for prioritization pipeline, presentations and formal executive reviews
- Collaborate with design teams, global, and other personnel to streamline application services
- Develop and interpret organizational goals, HR policies and procedures as it relates to HR demand management processes and prioritization criteria.
- Evaluate the HR Landscape Demand Management methodology and approach and recommend improvements, such as process, procedure, or technology changes.
- Review and approve all US HR Portfolio Synch requests prior to submission, monitor US priorities, and validate completion with customers prior to closing demands.
- Prepare and review HR Demand Management status updates, establish reporting to support effective decision making, and create and maintain acceptable service metrics.
- Establish team standards for evaluating project and change request proposals to assess project value, impact assessments, and high-level resource requirements.
- Lead key stakeholder engagement with team members to gather and document requirements, communicate findings and recommendations effectively, and facilitate meetings and conversations to ensure alignment.
- Accountable for all US HR System Demand Management across HR Tech, Data Innovation & Associate Experience and Global Enterprise Platforms HR, Regional IT, and other connecting areas.
- Accountable for supporting the rollout of new technologies and processes in conjunction with HR Tech, Data Innovation & Associate Experience - monitoring adoption rates and addressing any challenges.
In addition to relationship building, flexibility, and communication skills, candidates should possess:
- Bachelor's degree in HR or IT, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- 5+ years management/supervisory experience in HRIS, or IT
- Basic knowledge of the US HR Systems Landscape - including SuccessFactors, ECP, Kronos, IAM, Custom US Union Solutions, and Integrations
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills, people-first approach to leading others
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence without authority
- Past experience with demand management and prioritization systems
- Ability to collaborate and partner well across functional and technical teams.
- Experience with Agile methodology and Project Management are desirable
Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC , Chicago, IL, Quincy, MA, Carlisle, PA, Scarborough, ME, Hyattsville, MD and Mauldin, SC.
