Primary Purpose
We are seeking a data-driven and customer-obsessed Group Product Manager to lead the strategy, discovery, and delivery of customer-centric digital experiences within our grocery digital platform. In this role, you will own a critical sub-domain-such as order capture, loyalty or data platform-and play a key role in shaping how millions of customers shop for groceries online.

You'll work cross-functionally to deliver intuitive, seamless, and engaging experiences that meet customer needs and drive business growth.
Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC , Chicago, IL, Quincy, MA, Carlisle, PA, Scarborough, ME, and Hyattsville, MD.

Duties and Responsibilities
Customer-Centric Product Leadership
- Champion the customer experience across your product area, using research, journey mapping, and behavioral data to identify pain points and opportunities.
- Define and track customer-focused OKRs and success metrics that reflect both customer satisfaction and business impact. Drive alignment with Company, Product and Great Local Brand strategies.
- Lead discovery and delivery of features that enhance the digital grocery experience.
Strategic Planning & Execution
- Own the product roadmap for your area, ensuring alignment with broader grocery eCommerce and enterprise goals.
- Proactively identify industry trends to enhance team and product success.
- Lead cross-functional teams through the full product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and iteration.
- Ensure outcomes are aligned with strategic priorities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with our Great Local Brands, UX, engineering, analytics, operations, and marketing to deliver cohesive, high-impact solutions.
- Proactively remove barriers between teams.
- Create buy-in and lead changes by clearly communicating a shared sense of purpose that motivates others.
Mentorship & Team Development
- Be a change leader, consistently modelling an ownership mentality.
- Mentor junior product managers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
- Lead knowledge-sharing and upskilling efforts across the product and brand teams, especially around customer experience best practices.
- Coach Product Managers through monitoring, analysis, and resulting continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment with domain priorities.
- Coach Product Managers and the team in leading recurring rituals, systematically driving the adoption of more efficient and productive practices.
Data-Driven Decision Making
- Synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to uncover insights, validate hypotheses, and inform prioritization.
- Use A/B testing, funnel analysis, and customer feedback loops to drive continuous improvement.
Leadership & Influence
- Inspire teams with a clear vision and strong sense of purpose.
- Influence senior stakeholders and cross-domain leaders to align on priorities and remove blockers.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of product management experience.
- Experience shipping end-to-end products.
- Proven success leading customer-facing product initiatives that drive measurable improvements in user experience and engagement.
- Proven ability to work with engineering, design, and data science teams to deliver scalable, performant, and secure products.
- Demonstrated ability to work with complex system integrations, especially across internal platforms or third-party services (e.g., payments, logistics, personalization engines).
- Experience working with mobile app platforms (iOS and Android), including knowledge of app release cycles, app store requirements.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and influence leaders across different teams.
- Experience mentoring product managers and fostering team growth.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in grocery retail, fulfillment, or omnichannel commerce.
- Familiarity with customer journey mapping, service design, or personalization strategies.
- Background in UX research, behavioral analytics, or customer engagement optimization.
Salary Range: $ 151,200 - $226,800
