Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and be available from May 26, 2026, through August 14, 2026. Department/Position Description:
The Procurement Governance Department works to create centralized practices throughout the supply chain footprint. The team covers areas such as Logistics, Data Governance, Transportation Planning, Store Planning and more. The Logistics team supports the strategy of inbound asset movement logistics across the business and helps to set up outbound operations with third party carriers. The team works heavily with transportation managers and distribution center leadership on strategic alignment to streamline processes and increase efficiency. Other key stakeholders include the internal finance team, the Procurement In Stock team, the Procurement Services department, category managers, and the Vendor Management department.
Responsible for evaluating, recommending, and implementing cost effective Transportation options and integrated Logistics systems and processes across Ahold Delhaize America. Uses analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict, and enhance Logistics processes. Collaborates across all Ahold Delhaize America banners in support of each company's unique business strategies. Collaborates with internal and external partners to guide, provide expertise, and recommend solutions that highlight cost and other holistic impacts and trade-offs to the Ahold Delhaize USA Supply Chain. Provides analytical expertise and guidance for projects, new business opportunities, and proposal.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, finance, supply chain or related field
- Excellent organizational, planning, influence, communication, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and persuasive in presenting and selling ideas and executing their implementation
