Department/Position Description:
The Consumer & Decisions Sciences Team is made up of three specialized groups: Consumer Insights, Brand Analytics, and Reporting & Analytics. The Consumer Insights team helps business understand what customers value, how well our brands deliver on those expectations, how market trends and consumer needs evolve, and which levers to pull to improve performance versus competitors. They use a range of qualitative and quantitative research methods to collect, analyze, and interpret data. These insights support growth strategies, optimize brand offerings, enhance customer experiences, and drive enterprise-wide innovation. Meanwhile the Brand Analytics and Reporting & Analytics teams focus on building a deep understanding of our millions of customers by embedding customer data in high-value business decisions. They leverage transactional and other data sources to create robust data pipelines, tools, processes, and apply advanced analytic techniques to deliver trusted, agile reporting, as well as consultative thought partnership to the business.
The intern will gain hands-on experience across business strategy, research, and communication. They will support the preparation of presentations and reports that turn complex insights into clear and actionable stories as well as help develop and curate materials for stakeholders. They will also have the opportunity to contribute to the management of the team's roadmap by helping track projects, organize documentation, and coordinate communications. The intern may also assist with research for executive escalations and strategic studies, which would include gathering and analyzing data, synthesizing findings, and preparing reports or notes.
