Primary Purpose
The Product Manager family of roles in ADUSA functions as a key contributor in the Product organization and will be responsible for supporting multiple cross functional Agile teams through Product functions that span the spectrum from ideation-strategizing to execution-delivery and everything in between. These roles are responsible for achieving key business metrics by enhancing the customer experience on the digital properties of Ahold Delhaize USA's brands.

Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Chicago, IL, and Quincy, MA.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Investigate reports of incidents, gather key facts, identify recurring and related issues and process for reproducibility in a time-sensitive manner
  • Demonstrate growth in skillset and progressive competence to step into additional responsibilities as opportunities arise
  • Maintain self-organization in understanding customers, managing multiple concurrent projects, and identifying solutions with significant business value
  • Actively participate in cross-functional teams comprising both business roles and technical development
  • Independently maintain an appropriate sense of urgency in all assigned tasks
  • Blend business acumen, technical problem solving, and agile execution
  • Contribute to the prioritization and sequencing of tasks within an agile framework
  • Partner with IT on development, testing, implementation plans, internal communications, and deployment plans
  • Collaborate with internal business partners to refine requirements and create buy-in from other teams
  • Vet scope, requirements, use cases, test cases, and design specifications with operational and project stakeholders
  • Proactively identify issues and work with partners to vet solution options
  • Synthesize business requirements, recommend solutions, gather buy-in from relevant stakeholders, and operationalize solutions
  • Develop metrics to measure the health of essential operational components, analyze results, and partner across the organization to develop action plans and enhancement recommendations
  • Act as an ambassador for the product internally and as the primary contact for queries related to the product
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and operationalize key product management metrics reporting

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 0-2 years direct experience in a digital environment in a relevant capacity
  • 0-2+ years overall relevant experience
  • 1+ years Digital experience
  • 0+ years in product management
  • Experience with teams using any of the following technologies: JSON-based APIs, Java,. NET, AngularJS, native IOS or Android
  • Experience with scrum/waterfall/ITIL methodologies (any, not all) and managing iteration-level deliverables
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) as well as unified communications (Teams, Slack, Pager Duty)
  • Manage multiple priorities and be able to switch to high-priority production issues at any time

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related fields is a plus.
  • eCommerce / retail business (plus but not essential)
  • Critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting
  • Analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and planning
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Motivated by natural curiosity (eagerness to learn even when not explicitly directed)

Salary Range: $79,280 - $118,920
