Primary Purpose

We are seeking an Associate Product Manager to help shape and deliver innovative digital experiences that enhance our omnichannel grocery retail ecosystem. In this role, you will partner with cross-functional teams to define and execute product strategies that drive customer engagement, operational efficiency, and business growth.

As a key contributor to the product team, you will support the development and prioritization of product roadmaps, translate customer and business needs into actionable requirements, and ensure seamless integration between digital platforms and core operational systems. You will collaborate closely with product, technology, design, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions that are intuitive, scalable, and aligned with measurable outcomes.

This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You'll play a critical role in bridging strategy, execution and helping to bring impactful digital products to life.

Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC, Chicago, IL and Quincy, MA.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Duties and Responsibilities

Product Development & Execution

  • Drive alignment of product roadmaps with overarching business goals and customer-centric strategies across omnichannel platforms.
  • Champion customer needs and business objectives in roadmap prioritization discussions
  • Lead discovery efforts through market research, competitive benchmarking, and customer feedback synthesis to uncover product opportunities.
  • Translate insights into actionable product strategies and feature concepts.
  • Evaluate and prioritize features based on business value, technical feasibility, and resource availability.
  • Define and advocate for MVP scope and iterative delivery plans.
  • Leverage data to identify trends, measure product performance, and inform iterative improvements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with design teams to co-create intuitive, accessible, and delightful user experiences.
  • Incorporate user feedback and usability testing results into design iterations.
  • Own and groom the product backlog, ensuring alignment with sprint goals and team capacity.
  • Facilitate sprint planning and participate in Agile ceremonies to drive continuous delivery.
  • Proactively surface risks and collaborate on mitigation strategies.
  • Foster alignment between product, engineering, operations, marketing, and analytics teams.
  • Ensure product solutions support end-to-end business processes, from discovery to delivery.

Communication

  • Author clear, concise product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure traceability from business goals to technical execution through well-documented artifacts

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience
  • 2 year of direct experience in a digital environment
  • Experience working in Agile environment
  • Experience in eCommerce

  • Cross-Functional Communication: Strong verbal and written communicator, able to tailor messaging across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborative Influence: Proven ability to build trust-based partnerships and influence stakeholders across levels and functions.
  • End-to-End Project Execution: Experienced in supporting product initiatives from ideation through delivery, ensuring alignment with timelines and goals.
  • Problem Solving & Planning: Resourceful in navigating ambiguity, resolving blockers, and driving structured planning in dynamic environments.
  • Presentation & Reporting: Confident in delivering insights and recommendations through clear, compelling presentations and reports.
  • Agile Mindset: Thrives in fast-paced, iterative environments with a strong focus on continuous improvement and customer outcomes.
  • Detail-Oriented Execution: Meticulous in managing deadlines, documentation, and quality assurance to ensure successful product delivery.

Salary Range: $93,840- $140,760
