The Senior Business Systems Analyst plays a crucial role in optimizing business processes through

comprehensive analysis and developing innovative solutions. They will collaborate with cross-functional

teams to gather, document, and analyze business needs, translating them into technical requirements for

implementation.

***Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC, Quincy, MA, Carlisle, PA, Scarborough, ME, Hyattsville, MD

Essential job functions:

• Lead requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders across departments to understand business objectives and processes.

• Analyze and document complex business processes and systems architecture, identifying areas for improvement and innovation.

• Develop comprehensive business and technical requirements documentation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

• Design and propose scalable and efficient solutions to address business challenges and enhance operational efficiency.

• Collaborate with development and implementation teams to translate requirements into technical specifications.

• Conduct thorough testing and validation of implemented solutions to ensure alignment with requirements.

• Act as a mentor and resource for junior analysts, providing guidance and support. Lead and mentor team members

• Perform periodic system access reviews across applicable business and technical teams.

• Serve as the subject matter expert for large scope/complex business systems

• Modify and configure systems to meet business needs and stakeholder requirements

• Prepare robust technical reports and create diagrams, workflow maps, or other visuals to facilitate enhanced system understanding.

• Establish baseline key performance indicators (KPI) / metrics for systems monitoring.

• Lead the troubleshooting and resolution of complex systems issues and/ or escalations (e.g. high severity incident tickets, situation management calls)

Qualifications:

• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis until the end of their appointment
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
• Proven experience (4-7 years) as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role, with a focus on process analysis and solution design.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex business needs into technical requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership (Directors+) in cross-functional teams (including IT, Category Management, Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Commercial).

Preferred:

• Project management experience.
• Knowledge of grocery industry digital and physical end-to-end supply chain.
• Experience with Agile or other project management methodologies.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
• Understanding of data analysis, SQL, and database management.

ME/NC/PA/SC Salary Range: $75,040 - $112,560

IL/MA/MD Salary Range: $86,320 - $129,480

This position is eligible for an incentive bonus based on company performance as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
