Position Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to share oversight of the daily operations of the Access Control functions for all ADUSA stores, support offices, distribution centers. Addresses all Access Control card access requests received through ServiceNow, including badge creation and modifying access per requests. and the handling of invoicing. Works closely with access control contractors as necessary for the maintenance of existing access control at new and existing sites. Maintain inventories specific to Access Control needs. Initiate work orders and/or other actions to address card access system issues. The primary function of the position is to ensure the physical security of our facilities by ensuring that only authorized individuals have access to individual facilities and secure areas within. This individual ensures compliance with internal and external policies and regulations.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process all requests for access to Ahold Delhaize USA stores, support offices and distribution centers and provide support to badging personnel in individual facilities to assist with access control related issues.
  • Responsible for programming the access control and visitor management systems, scheduling and reporting for all identified areas throughout Ahold Delhaize USA stores, support offices and distribution centers.
  • Coordinate new installations and remodels with integrators to ensure that any new doors, etc. are properly programmed into the access control system.
  • Ensure that access control systems maintain integration with other systems such as video systems and visitor management systems.
  • Collaborates with internal IT teams and multiple IT partners and vendors whose services and technologies must seamlessly integrate.
  • Responsible for ensuring that only authorized individuals have access to designated areas.
  • Responsible for reviewing all reported access control issues, troubleshooting and addressing problems related to (access control, locks, etc.)
  • Process alarm permit applications with local municipalities to ensure that Central Station maintains the active permits required for dispatching authorities to customer locations.
  • Provide scheduled and ad hoc reporting on access control activity.
  • Respond to requests for information from outside parties such as law enforcement agencies, fire departments, and municipalities regarding alarm activations, testing and other needs.
  • Conduct regular reviews of access control systems and access privileges to ensure that compliance with policies and regulations is maintained.
  • Research unusual activity and escalate as needed.
  • Review quarterly Corporate Contractor access to maintain an accurate database for contractors.
  • Process invoices for fees associated with Ahold Delhaize USA stores, support offices and distribution centers.
  • Act as liaison with vendors and accounting to research and remedy any invoice payment issues.
  • Perform administrative duties for ADUSA Asset Protection department as needed.
  • Maintain proficiency in Central Station operations to provide backup in the event of emergency situations.

Basic Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • 1-2 years experience
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, PowerBi knowledge is a plus
  • Strong computer kills and the ability to understand network connectivity of devices.
  • Self-starter, ability to produce under little supervision; great communication skills (written and verbal)
  • The ability to summarize data to deliver to management.
  • Proven ability to adjust and deliver in an ever changing and challenging environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Asset Protection, retail business applications, systems, and standard practices
  • Strong Customer Service and Analytical skills.
  • Knowledgeable of or a willingness to learn electronic card access systems (preferably including S2 and CCure).
  • Knowledgeable in or a willingness to learn ServiceNow.
  • Highly motivated and detail-oriented.
  • Focused and committed to integrity of data and attention to accurate details and information.
  • Self- starter, able to produce under little supervision; great communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Excellent verbal and written skills, including the ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships across departments and facilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple action items concurrently and to follow through to achieve the desired results.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively at all levels in a collaborative team environment having flexibility and customer service orientation.
  • Strong organization skills to ensure that requests are fulfilled in a timely manner
