Strategic Enablement Lead - Global Ops

Adyen is at an inflection point of rapid growth and our Operations organization plays a critical role in achieving our 10x ambition. We’re looking for an experienced leader to define and drive the learning and development strategy and delivery for our global Operations teams.  In this role you will play a crucial part in supporting the professional growth of our Operations workforce and acting as a strategic enabler to our growth ambitions.

This position is particularly well-suited for professionals currently in a Strategy, Transformation, Operations, or Program Management role with a passion for learning and development who are seeking to transition into a strategic leadership role. You will have the opportunity to leverage your past experience to develop and implement educational programs across the global Operations organization at Adyen.

You should be excited by the challenge of setting a new standard to create lasting business impact through talent activation and development.

Your Mission

Your primary objective will be to define the strategy, evolve the team, and collaborate with Ops leadership and key HR and L&D partners to create scalable learning programs. These programs will empower the Adyen Ops teams to deliver excellence at scale, directly contributing to the company's rapid growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Define & drive the strategy: Lead a small team to develop & execute the strategy for Operations functional transformation, and learning and development programs (including robust onboarding and subsequent growth enablement programs with an Operations focus)
  • Build strong collaboration: both with senior Ops leadership to understand business needs and ensure a focus on the right things to enable Ops for today and tomorrow, as well as strong cross functional collaboration model with HR and learning and development partners
  • Drive and deliver against the strategic priorities of operations: ensuring buy-in from stakeholders and employees through relevance in content and excellence in delivery
  • Maximise impact: evaluate end to end employee needs, utilizing data analytics to inform decision-making and optimize program impact and continuous improvement across operations
  • Enable organisational change: partner with the wider Ops Strategy & Execution team to implement new ways of working and drive successful execution and change management
  • Build with scale in mind: implement and oversee scalable methodologies, integrating in-person and digital learning solutions to enhance accessibility and participation
