The goal of the team is to contribute to Adyen’s 10x ambition through sustainable commercial decisions, risk mitigation, contract and vendor management, ultimately empowering stakeholders to deliver their strategies. Initially, you will focus 50% of your time on developing and implementing a strategy for the advisory spend, and the remaining 50% on coordinating the sustainable procurement efforts across categories, but as Adyen grows, and the Procurement team with it, this scope might change and increase in the future.

- You will develop and implement a category plan for advisory.
- You will drive the sustainable procurement roadmap and coordinate the efforts of the wider Procurement team towards reaching Adyen’s ESG targets.
- You will act as an internal ambassador to raise awareness around ESG regulations and challenges, including influencing procurement category strategies.
Who you are
- You have 4-6 years of relevant experience, including category management and sourcing strategy development and implementation.
- Experience in driving ESG improvements in the value chain is an added advantage. This includes implementing codes of conduct, working with risk assessment platforms (preferably EcoVadis), and driving and renewable energy projects.
- You have project management skills, are resourceful, and able to work independently.
- You have a commercial mindset, and are able to analyze and present complex deals.
- You're a natural networker, great in stakeholder management and negotiations.
