Adyen is seeking a Rewards and Regulatory Manager who is excited to join the Global People team to contribute to the growth and scale of the company. Our ideal candidate thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, takes ownership, works collaboratively and is not afraid to roll-up-their-sleeves to get work done.
You will be the key point of contact for all aspects of regulatory, systems, data, reporting, and compliance for Adyen’s total rewards programs. This includes the laws, standards, rules and regulations set by the governments and regulatory bodies in the locations we operate in, including audit, internal reporting, and external reporting obligations.
What you will do
- Be responsible for all regulatory policies and processes surrounding Global Total Rewards, such as Adyen’s Remuneration Policies and our Regulatory Remuneration Framework
- Establish a cohesive total rewards compliance framework that promotes stakeholder accountability and maintains transparent communication channels to secure the support and cooperation of all stakeholders
- Prepare all regulatory reporting related to total rewards including but not limited to Pillar III, Identified Staff, Variable Pay, Equity Compensation, Corporate Social Reporting and the European Pay Directive
- Manage internal and external HR audits for rewards topics (e.g. Equal Pay) and work together with the Internal Audit team to improve processes, including defining internal controls and walkthroughs for external auditors
- Monitor legislative changes on an ongoing basis and make sure all our reporting stays ahead of regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with external experts to interpret complex regulations and communicate them effectively to Adyen stakeholders
- Be the main point of contact for our employee equity vendor partner, including monitoring and reporting on activity within the equity system
- Support in our ongoing compensation and benefits benchmarking activities and global rewards projects
- Seek out ongoing opportunities to enhance Adyen’s total rewards offering and programs
Who you are
- An analytical thinker with high data literacy and ability to transform regulations into actionable guidance that supports the Adyen business
- You have knowledge of compensation principles, market trends, regulatory requirements, and best practices
- Relevant experience in remuneration regulations and understanding of European and Dutch remuneration regulations (e.g., SRD II, CRD V, EBA Guidelines, WFT, WBFO)
- Utilise your skills in strong stakeholder management and communication skills to translate complex regulations and requirements to the broader HR and cross-functional stakeholder audience
- Thrive working on strategic and operational challenges in a growing Global FinTech organization
- Strong project management skills
