Senior Member of Technical Staff: Full Stack developer

Responsibilities :
As a member of this team, you will build out new UI components for core end-
user-facing experiences. You will architect, write and optimize new, scalable
services, flexible and powerful APIs to support other developers, quality, and
performance.
You will get a chance to tackle significant engineering challenges, such as :

  • Designing foundational front-end infrastructure to support UI dialogs, marketing promotions templates, etc
  • Building complex user interfaces for composing messages
  • Building libraries for tracking events, analysing data, and orchestrating user journeys
  • Building and supporting Micro-Services
  • Extending, optimizing, and future-proofing all parts of our tech stack
  • Collaborating with UI/UX designers, Frontend Architects, and Product Managers to design and implement modern, delightful, and intuitive features

Requirements :

  • 2+ years of experience developing front-end for web applications with responsive designs, modular and loosely coupled code.
  • Experience creating and maintaining backend services.
  • Experience with modern Javascript and frameworks (e.g. Web Components, React, ES6, TypeScript, Vue, Angular, GraphQL) and architectures like MVC/Flux/Redux
  • Extensive Knowledge of Web Standards and modern browsers, both at their API level and their internals (JS engines, browser performance, reflow, repaint, shadow DOM, progressive rendering, Service Workers, CDNs, CSS resetting, normalising, SCSS, etc.).
  • Interest in ElasticSearch, Node.js, Python, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, AWS
  • Lambda, Amazon API Gateway, and Amazon DynamoDB, S3, Kubernets, Elastic Containers
  • Good knowledge of algorithms, data structures and distributed system design/implementation, and ability to debug
  • Experience with unit, integration and end to end testing
  • Maintain and troubleshoot parts of production environment
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation
