Temporary HR Assistant | Tulsa, OK

Job Type: Temporary; Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm

$15-18 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Organize and maintain personnel records
  • Update internal databases
  • Act as face of office, handling receptionist needs such as answering and forwarding calls, directing guests, etc.
  • Prepare HR documents, like employment contracts and new hire guides
  • Communicate with external partners, like insurance vendors, and ensure legal compliance
  • Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates)
  • Answer employees queries about HR-related issues
  • Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules)

Required Experience:
  • Experience working in HRIS preferred
  • Working experience in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook and PowerPoint
  • 1-3 years of experience working in a Human Resources Department
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Knowledge of current labor laws preferred
