Job Description:

1. Develops training systems and document all procedures.
2. Collaborate with hardware, OS, DBA technical teams to ensure proper integration of the environment.
3. Provides user support for daily business procedures.
4. Evaluates new software releases. Coordinate testing with end user and programmer.
5. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
6. Monitor software applications, document and analyze problems, publish maintenance schedule.
7. Plan and coordinate testing changes, upgrades, and new services, ensuring systems will operate correctly in current and future environments

Performs necessary investigation, analysis and evaluation to determine project feasibility; helps to develop project cost and benefit estimates to establish project worth including the development of alternative considerations leading to recommendations for new systems or equipment installations, or change to existing ones.

Advises the appropriate people on the implications of existing IT systems that can be applied to a problem; develops and/or evaluates previously refined data and programs and select from a range of alternatives to determine the appropriate action to be taken.

Develops or assists in the development of work plans, task sequencing, and the extent to which tasks may be performed concurrently; develops time schedules, conversion, and test procedures for all aspects of system, from manual handling through computer processing; recommends plans for user and resource management approvals; develops project plans and schedules.

Maintains contact within the IT organization, with systems and programming personnel, with IT managers' at all organizational levels, and with technology vendors; maintains periodic contact with internal customers using IT services and executives in charge of the key business units using IT services.

Assists in the development and implementation of major systems structures which will provide a solid foundation for well written and reliable application programs.

Position Requirements:

(A) Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering,
business administration, or related technical field; and
(B) Three years of systems support work experience: or
(C) Any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

(A) Considerable knowledge of major systems development and implementation;
(B) Skill in project management and control
(C) Ability to troubleshoot assigned programs; ability to meet project deadlines; ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; ability to
establish and maintain effective working relationships with subordinates,
peers, supervisors, vendors and contractors; ability to exercise sound judgment
in evaluating situations and in making decisions; ability to follow or give
verbal and written instructions, as applicable.
(D) Strong Microsoft Excel skills (Macros, VBA editing, pivot tables, formulas,
data integration)
