We are currently looking for staff accountants for a variety of contract and contract-to-hire opportunities throughout the Northern Virginia area. Ideal candidates will have a degree in accounting with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a general ledger role, as well as exposure to a large ERP and intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Prepare GL reconciliations and ad-hoc reports
- Assist with AP process, to include PO processing, invoice coding and submission of disbursements
- Assist with accounts receivable (cash and payment reconciliation, investigation and resolution of issues)
- Maintain fixed assets
- Balance sheet reconciliations

Qualifications:
- 2+ years' experience in a full-cycle accounting position
- BS in Accounting or related field
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
