Sr. Staff Accountant - Financial Reporting
3 Month Contract
Pay Rate: $35/hr.

Applies principles of accounting to perform a variety of functions in the company's Financial Reporting and Planning department. The primary responsibilities will be to support the general accounting functions of the company and include the following essential duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Compiles and analyzes financial information for the company, documents business transactions and produces necessary reports.
Aid the Senior Accountant for the company entity to record entity entries based on investments Record all transactions related to company investments.
Be a primary support for the company's entity, revenue recognition and tuition related balance sheet accounts
Coordinates and reviews policies and procedures for the consolidation of financial information including journal entries.
Coordinates balance sheet review process for a company entity to include the control and review of Balance Sheet Account analysis, which is prepared on a monthly basis and reviewed by upper management and utilized at year-end audit.
Reviews expense variance analysis which is for financial statements and audit assignments. Compiles and reviews information required for year-end audit.
Prepares miscellaneous surveys for external reporting.
Assists in establishing, modifying, documenting and coordinating implementation of Accounting control procedures and policies.
Maintains general ledger system to include monthly close.
Prepares miscellaneous reports for management.
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.)
Minimum of 3 to 5 years related experience. Individual must be self-motivated and a team player with strong accounting and analytical skills, and be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously. The individual will interface with departmental personnel campus-wide and must possess effective communication and interpersonal skills
