Our client, a publicly traded company located in Fairfax County, is seeking a senior accountant for a contract to hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will have a degree in either accounting or finance, and will have experience with accrual accounting.
Primary Responsibilities:
- General ledger responsibilities, to include month-end close and reconciliations
- Accrual accounting
- Payroll processing (small payroll) and commission calculation and payout
- Preparation of financial reports (financial statements, budget and performance)
Qualifications:
- BS in either Accounting or Finance would be a plus
- 4+ years' GL accounting experience, to include accrual accounting
- Previous experience in processing payroll using ADP
- Available immediately
