Payroll Specialist in Arlington, TX

Our client located in Arlington has an immediate opening for an experienced Payroll Specialist . This is an excellent opportunity for someone that has 3+ years working as a Payroll Specialist or Payroll Administrator. The ideal candidate will have experience processing, resolving and issuing multi-state payroll and experience with various payroll systems. Targeted compensation is in the mid $50K's

Arlington, Texas

Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for the day-to-day payroll ensuring the processing of timely and accurate payroll
• Processing multi-state payroll up to 1000 employees
• Verify all payroll entries including deductions, earnings and changes, review and reconcile payroll data and resolve any discrepancies as necessary
• Organize and verify any additional data for final payroll runs prior to processing of W-2s, and process W-2 corrections as appropriate
• Work with line mangers regarding inquiries, issues and procedures affecting payroll and HR
• Assist with general onboarding duties and HR duties

Requirements:

• 3+ years of payroll experience
• Some experience with assisting with HR related duties outside of payroll
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
