Job description
The Marketing Automation Analyst role will support the marketing automation program for the enterprise to drive success in marketing goals for lead generation and client engagement. Responsible for supporting business unit users of Marketo, including building programs, evaluating data flows and creating templates that are used across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Complete Marketo requests in collaboration with the marketing team.
  • Support business unit Marketo admins and power users on complex program build, strategy and execution
  • Support complex QA requests for all business unit and corporate marketing users to ensure compliance with brand standards, best practices and error free communications
  • Configure and implement the solution design work related to roadmap and tech docket initiatives
  • Support HTML build on landing pages and templates and emails
  • Maintain the Marketo production and sandbox instances
  • Develop and maintain training and support documentation
  • Apply a collaborative approach in executing solutions for business use cases and requirements
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate appropriately

Required skills and experience
  • A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is required
  • 2+ years hands-on experience in Marketo
  • 2+ years working with a CRM integration (preferably Salesforce)
  • 2+ years working with and managing integrated databases
  • 1+ years working in HTML/CSS
  • Demonstrates expertise in marketing technologies.
  • Advanced knowledge of Marketo program build, program strategy, and campaign execution (QA and delivery)
  • Advanced knowledge of CRM workflows and integration points
  • Working proficiency of JavaScript (or other computer languages)
  • Basic understanding of REST API, Munchkin API, and/or HTTPS protocol (web hooks)
  • Basic understanding of CMS (preferably Adobe Experience Manager)
  • Strong organizational and project management skills a must
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to change
