Accounting Technician
Tulsa, OK
Job Responsibilities:
- Review files for completeness and accuracy.
- Daily processing of cash receipts.
- Daily processing of commissions payable (A/P)
- Daily processing of large excel invoice. Proficiency in Excel is a must.
- Data entry for pending files.
- Liaison between agents and accounting.
- Reviewing transactions and matching to closing documents
- Post cash receipts (on Mondays & Fridays)
- Billing for agents
- Review files for completeness and accuracy.
- Daily processing of cash receipts.
- Daily processing of commissions payable.
- Daily processing of large excel invoice. Proficiency in Excel is a must.
- Data entry for pending files.
- Liaison between agents and accounting.
- Other Duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Associates in Accounting
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Great communication skills required, both written and verbal
- Exercising initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-making to achieve organizational objectives.
- Identifying and resolving problems.
- Good organization skills and keen attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping practices and procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to type 30 words per minute.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
- Experience with accounting software.
