Achieve is currently seeking aFacility Technician I-HVACtechnician. Our ideal candidate is a great communicator with a positive attitude, who pays close attention to detail and accuracy and has a desire to succeed in a fast-paced environment.As Facilities Technician you will be responsible for maintaining an effective working relationship between Achieve and the various partners we work with to support and upkeep the Achieve campus in Tempe, AZ. Service Tech I will demonstrate a level of professionalism through positive communication and appearance that will be respected by other service personnel and provide an exemplary level of service for our team and to our customers. Our ideal candidate will ensure all facilities matters are handled within an appropriate time frame. Assist Facilities Leadership with coordination of construction projects, facilities requests, and re-stocking. Repairs and maintains office peripherals and furniture for the offices, cubicles, conference and other general areas. Performs daily administrative, light maintenance, and business services tasks as needed along with miscellaneous duties as assigned.

This opportunity will be onsite Monday - Friday at our Tempe, AZ location and shared On Call responsibilities.

Position Responsibilities

  • Works with Facility Leadership to ensure best practices are used to maintain accurate records and tracking of in-stock and rented equipment.
  • Monitors Facilities queue for facilities-related issues from Achieve staff. Coordinate with building management for resolution of any facility-related issues (power outages, plumbing problems, lack of water supply, office temperature, lighting, sounding alarms, etc.)
  • Ability to perform general maintenance duties including but not limited to light plumbing, installation of office peripherals, minor electrical and minor construction.
  • Troubleshoot maintenance problems to identify issues and necessary repairs.
  • Assist team members as needed with departmental moves.
  • Restock and reset common areas including but not limited to conference rooms, training rooms, break areas, copy areas, etc.
  • Ability to perform routine preventive maintenance in changing of filters, lights, ceiling tiles, etc.
  • Respond in a timely manner to incident reports within the office, within your abilities of experience, to make sure the work is completed with highest level of quality.
  • Property inspection to keep areas cleans of debris and note deficiency to supervisor.
  • Troubleshoot and repair of general building equipment in which your experience allows.
  • Properly operate, maintain and store all maintenance equipment.
  • Perform other related duties as directed.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years' experience in commercial property / facilities maintenance, Contact Center experience a plus.
  • Experience with Building Automation Cooling Plant and HVAC operations.
  • EPA 608 Refrigerant Certified.
  • Possesses advanced knowledge of mechanical and facilities repair and maintenance.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an understanding of web-based work order system.
  • Computer and internet proficiency.
  • Proven experience in reducing costs by reducing energy usage, managing vendors and warranties.
  • Proven skills in painting, patching and light carpentry with the ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of commercial building plumbing, and fixture replacement.
  • Knowledge of low voltage and high voltage commercial lighting and schedule systems, including 120v and 277v.
  • Ability to lift weights of over 50 lbs regularly and walking 300,000 square feet of property daily.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
  • High attention to details.
  • Ability to provide a high level of service with initiative, teamwork and integrity.
