What are your responsibilities in this role:

The Solution Consulting department is a hybrid of sales and tech savvy individuals. After the Sales team has engaged a customer's interest, the "SC" steps in to visit/connect to our clients to demonstrate how our solutions work and highlight the value to the customer. In this team-selling structure, you'll have a balance of self-management and collaboration with other departments to help close the deal and expand our clientele.

As a Solution Consultant, you will peer with the sales team to contribute in discovery and discussion with Account Executives and Channel Managers. Overall, the Solution Consultant is a support resource to the sales process by working with prospective customers to articulate the technical and business value of our software solutions and services teams. Your actions will support the sales process and contribute towards meeting or exceeding revenue targets.

Why you want to work for our Solution Consulting team:

This role will be working on/with Accruent’s Asset Management Solutions (AMS) primarily within the Industrial and Manufacturing industries. AMS solutions include Maintenance Connection which helps maintenance teams manage work orders, preventative maintenance, and manage enterprise assets and equipment inventory, Meridian & RedEye which help engineering and maintenance teams manage engineering documents, control change, and safely exchange documents with contractors, and Siterra which helps telecoms management their sites and their associated assets, projects, and leases.

This position reports directly to the Manager of Solution Consulting and will be a remote position.

This role will be facing customer and communicating in English, so candidate needs to have fluency in English language.

How you'll make a difference:

  • Primary solution specialist, architect, and technical resource working with your sales professional, such as Account Executive or Channel Manager, on prospective client opportunities.
  • Consult with client to gather necessary information to select and tailor our solution.
  • Understand and convey the value and benefits of the Asset Management Solutions to the various users/roles at the customer.
  • Develop and conduct product demonstrations when necessary, and assist in removing obstacles around the technology decision that may exist during the sales cycle.
  • Assist Account Executives in developing overall proposals.
  • Provide input into RFIs, RFPs and security questionnaires.
  • Assist in developing presentations and on-line demonstrations for marketing events.
  • Identify and help drive new uses of the Accruent’s solutions.
  • Conduct customer trials and proofs of concept.
  • Support Product Management with field information such as feature requirements, product enhancements and new use case scenarios.
  • Learn and maintain competitive knowledge on industries and products to leverage in the sales cycle.

You'll stand out if you:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred (Engineering, Computer Science or Business or equivalent experience).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, Portuguese, & Spanish, along with outstanding presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Executive presence with ability to lead brainstorming and interactive sessions with an audience of senior decision makers.
  • Knowledge of SaaS/Hosted/On-Premises software preferred.
  • Solid understanding of internet technologies and trends (such as API uses, web servers/technology, security).
  • Must be customer focused and can manage/resolve solutions to complex technical issues.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional business and technical teams to provide quick and timely responses to prospects.
