Intern - Software Engineer

The Software Engineering Intern, reporting to Engineering Manager, is responsible for ...

• Manual and Unit Testing for features on the Front End and Back End used by Accolade's Doctors and Operations
• Addressing small bugs and tasks relating to key UI and API initiatives owned by the Fossa Team
• Using error monitoring tools like FullStory, Datadog and Sentry to help the team investigate issues as they come up

A day in the life...

• Working through JIRA tickets around small tasks, bugs and documentation
• Meeting with the team every morning to discuss current progress and identify any blockers
• Reaching out to members of the team to get clarity around tickets as needed

What we are looking for...

• Interns who are interested in and ideally have past exposure to
  • Python, Django
  • React, JavaScript, NextJS, HTML, CSS
  • MySQL, PostGres
  • Docker, Kubernetes, AWS
  • Familiarity with version control tools like Github for pushing code changes
