You are:

The person who will provide the best of engineering knowledge and experience, to assess new technologies, and design and engineer innovative technical solutions.

The Work:

Modernize defense customer's largest warehouse with a modern Warehouse Execution System based on Dematic iQ and Automated Material Handling Equipment AMHE to improve service for the warfighter, strengthen cybersecurity, and gain cost efficiencies through automation.

The Server Architect will
  • Support the design of the infrastructure (servers, network, storage) to support Dematic iQ and the required AMHE
  • Work as part of infrastructure team to define requirements, design architecture, and oversee implementation
  • Participate in server, network, workstation ordering and set ups
  • Conduct infrastructure testing
  • Assist with transition to production support
  • Technical documentation

Here's what you need:

Basic network understanding

An understanding of server design / administration such as:
  • Resourcing
  • Filesystem structure / storage
  • Port/protocol/network
  • Delivery, deployment diagrams, requirements documentation experience
  • Technical training to put together diagrams

Bonus points if you have:
  • Hardening / basic security principals
  • 4+ years consulting experience
  • System Configuration
