The work:
- Identify and solve supply chain, operational or procurement problems using your analytical skills to dive into data and check that against the real world
- Persuade senior managers at the client and Accenture about the benefit of new approaches
- Decide what methods and procedures to use when completing projects
- Work alone or lead and manage small-to-medium sized teams with diverse backgrounds, skills and knowledge at clients or Accenture as needed
- Make sure clients' supply chains, procurement and operations support their overall objectives-and be ready to (diplomatically) challenge old fashioned approaches if needed
- Give clients insights that help make their agencies work better, faster, and more efficiently
- Use digital tech to help clients find new ways to make their supply chains more effective and efficient while reducing costs
- Lead workshops that find ways to make procurement, supply chain and client processes more efficient

Qualifications

Here's what you need:
  • -Bachelor's Degree
  • 6 years' experience working in Federal Procurement, potentially as a contracting officer or in a role directly engaging with contracting professionals.
  • 4 years' experience in project management
  • Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
  • Background in Strategic Sourcing and Category Management
  • Experience working with Senior Leadership (internal/external) to build successful professional relationships as a trusted advisor

Bonus points if:
  • Experience with Procurement Analytics and/or Supply Chain Data Management
  • Experience developing and implementing analytical solutions
  • Possesses complex understanding of federal business practices with the ability to analyze, evaluate and implement processes
  • Experience with Federal procurement technologies, such as Prism, Momentum, Appian, Coupa or Ariba
  • Background in Supply Chain Operations
  • Familiarity with Federal Finance processes
  • Understanding and experience in supporting sales and proposal process
  • Consulting experience
