You are:
AContract Associate Managerin the Analytics, Data, and Records team who will facilitate the management of multiple competing priorities

The work:
  • Effectively project manage and drive key Contract Management initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with project leadership and Contract Managers to provide relevant advice and guidance. May provide training to Contract Management personnel.
  • Identifies risks and issues, suggests alternatives or process improvements that lead to the best solution
  • Prepares and disseminates information regarding contract status, compliance, modifications, etc.
  • Ensures all Contract Management systems are current, accurate, and complete with all of AFS' contract related data
  • Analyzes trends and interpret data across AFS enterprise systems
  • Reviews work of other Contract Management professionals
  • Manages and drives responses to complex inquiries into any aspect of AFS' current and past contracts from both internal and external sources
  • Duties may include audit and sampling, definition/implementation of tools and processes.

Qualifications

Here's what you need:
  • 5 years experience in Contract Management, Subcontracts, or Procurement in the Federal Government environment
  • Experience in working with senior leadership; able to effectively communicate with client executives and all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated successful management of competing priorities and complex activities in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws, and customer requirements.

Bonus points if you have:
  • Knowledge of corporate business practices, government and commercial contracting regulations and principles, and accounting and finance principles
  • Understanding of or experience with Python, R, SQL, and/or data analysis tools (such as Power BI)
  • Understanding of basic Federal contracting principles
  • Familiarity with FAR, DFAR and agency-specific supplements
  • Working knowledge of Accenture policy and Contract and Commercial Management Processes
  • Ability to analyze large datasets
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Collaborative and persuasive; able to influence executives and non-executives
  • Strong Excel skills
