USER EXPERIENCE ARCHITECT (XA) - Industry X

XA's are driven to master the task of taking broad concepts and bringing them to life by solving problems through the lens of the user experience from start to finish. They are curious problem solvers with a desire to unpack the user experience through understanding the user, creating process and journey maps as well as screen flows. They are instrumental in translating business requirements and user needs into features and articulating them into the appropriate level of specificity, to support the rest of the team , which could be either more detailed design team members or developers for agile development.

A DAY IN THE LIFE.

• Workshop and design thinking sessions to help unpack the real value of the experience for the different personas.

• Working and communicating with multifunctional, Agile teams in a fast-paced, iterative environment.

• Translating broad ideas, business and functional requirements into process flows and wireframe concepts.

• Translating business requirements into users stories through defining the experience in thin-slices to support various software builds

• Rapidly iterate on how to engage users in the research and review process of a project, to ensure just in time user learning and evolution.

• Advocating on behalf of the end-user throughout ideation, discovery, research, design and development phases of a project.

• Collaborating and working alongside Client Product Owner, Team Delivery Lead, UI Designers and Software Artisans.

• Clearly presenting creative ideas to clients and stakeholders.

• Planning and conducting user research, including usability testing, interviews and/or contextual inquiries.

• Flexibly to work in collaborative team setting or solo to support various team structures

• Facilitating or participating in creative sessions.

• Comfort working with tools like MS Teams, Sketch, InVision, Axure, Miro, Mural and other prototyping and/or information architecture tools.

• Staying current with digital trends and best practices-you know, things like IoT, embedded, cloud, AI and other emerging tech.

• Maintaining composure and resilience in situations where "adaptability" is required.

• Participating in the complete product development lifecycle of digital products-beyond just web design, this also includes web and mobile apps, embedded systems and more.

• Working with a variety of web, design standards and creating artifacts, including but not limited to things like wireframes, interactive prototypes, user personas, journey maps, story maps and user stories.

Qualifications

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR.

• 2 year degree in in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factors, Interaction Design, Information Architecture, Ethnographic User Research, or 2 years of equivalent experience.

• Minimum 2 years At least 1 year of experience as a member of a DX, UX or design team working within a fast-paced, iterative environment.

As required by theColorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only , the range of starting pay for this role is $72,400 - $134,999 and information on benefits offered is here.
