Test Engineering Manager (Accenture LLP; Austin, TX ): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Test Engineering Manager in Austin, TX to manage and lead a QA/Testing Team . She will perform the following duties: define the scope of testing within the context of each release/delivery; plan and manage the testing effort for any given engagement; provide test strategy; scope estimates for testing activities per release; manage the defect process for client and external vendors, manage team of testers; peer review of test scripts; report on testing progress; identify issues or risks tied to test strategy or delivery plan, mitigate any issues or risks tied to test strategy or delivery plan.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires at least a bachelor's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering (any), or in a closely related field, plus 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience as Software Engineer, or in a related IT position. This position also requires the following professional experience: 5 years of experience in Test Automation Strategy, Test Strategy and Planning, and Defect Management; 5 years of experience in estimating testing work in order to establish team size and project durations;5 years of experience in Quality Management in order to ensure that every phase of the testing lifecycle is defined and then implemented; 4 years of experience with requirements gathering and analysis to ensure that Quality Management definition meets the needs of the application; and 2 years of experience in Issue Management in order to close out any defects identified during the lifecycle of the testing project.
