Test Engineering Associate Manager (Accenture LLP; San Jose, CA): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Test Engineering Associate Manager in San Jose, CA, and the job duties are as follows:

  • Plan, construct, and execute test scripts through the use of quality processes and methodologies for Accenture or clients.
  • Develop, update, and maintain quality testing standards and procedures.
  • Create test models (plans, data, and scripts), including test data.
  • Execute regression testing, test automation, performance testing, functionality testing, and usability testing.
  • Review the development process to ensure that defect tracking (identification, fixing, re-testing, and migration of defects) is properly addressed.
  • Understand strategic direction set by senior management, and implement methods and procedures set by management.
  • Work with team members to gather and interpret user/system requirements into design specifications.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Management, Technology, Computer Applications, Engineering, or a related field, plus 3 years of experience in the IT consulting industry. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, employer will accept 2 additional years of experience in the IT consulting industry.

Of the required experience, 3 years of experience must be in each of the following:
  • Integration testing between websites and mobile devices;
  • Regression testing;
  • Using testing tools, including Postman, Charles, Android Studio, and Xcode;
  • Integration testing using AI tools, including Apteligent, Apptentive, and Firebase;
  • Writing test plans and test matrices;
  • Black-box testing;
  • Integration testing and manual testing on mobile devices and websites;
  • Analyzing functional requirements; and
  • Firmware testing and testing connectivity through integration test.
Of the required experience, 1 year of experience must be in each of the following:
  • Leading cross-functional teams and offshore testing teams;
  • Internet of Things (IoT) testing; and
  • Troubleshooting Bluetooth issues.
Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time to meet client needs.
