Operations is one of four services that make up one Accenture -the others are Strategy and Consulting, Interactive and Technology.
The Technical Writer will be expected to work with a cross functional team to create, edit, and organize information and convert it into useful, high quality documentation and resources. Responsibilities will include conducting quality reviews, copy editing, substantive editing, and ensuring that content meets style and branding guidelines. Documentation will be designed for external clients and or internal resources. The candidate should be highly organized, adjust well to a fast paced and dynamic environment, and have excellent verbal and problem solving skills. The position will require the technical writer to learn processes and content guidelines on very short notice. It requires excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with SMEs, team members, and our client s representatives to obtain the information necessary to carry out assignments. The candidate must have superior writing skills, including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition and grammar, writing for different audiences and reading levels, and the use of style guides.

Qualifications
Basic Qualification:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in technical writing and editing or Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, or English
- Experience using federal plain language writing standards
- Experience with structured authoring DITA XML
