Senior Sales Lead selling Accenture Technology Solutions into Resources/Energy/Chemicals/Utilities Industry in US South

Locations preferred: Atlanta, Oklahoma City, DC/Arlington or Dallas

Senior Sales Lead is a senior sales professional, providing solutions to complex technology business problems. You will be selling Accenture's Technology Services Solutions into the Resources, Energy, Chemicals and Utilities Industry in the US South.

You are someone who has successfully created positive impact through year-on-year business expansion. You have run all phases of a sales cycle, including qualification, sales pursuit and close by applying deep sales process and technical expertise working in a highly matrixed organization. You develop internal relationships, as well as with key buyers and decision-makers at new and existing clients by utilizing a differentiated roadmap and framework leveraging the latest cloud-based technologies.

The work:
  • Create solutions to complex technology business problems/opportunities requiring in-depth knowledge of client buyer needs
  • Interact with senior management levels at clients and within Accenture, determine pursuit strategies, develop client messaging plans and relationships, and apply industry-leading Cloud transformation strategies and practices.
  • Have latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments
  • Operate within large teams and direct specific team sales activities
  • Travel up to 75% Monday-Thursday (as required) post COVID travel considerations/concerns (as currently much of our work is virtual)

Here's what you need:
  • Minimum of 5 years' selling/closing deals in professional services space in one or more of the following areas: Application outsourcing, Systems integration, Cloud enablement and migration, Technology Strategy, Public Cloud, and IT transformation
  • Minimum 5 years' experience selling to the Energy, Chemicals, Resources and Utilities industry
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in direct sales with quota of $10M+
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with VP, Senior Director, CXO client relationship building and relationship management
  • Minimum of 8 years' Sales Pursuit Management experience
  • Proven ability to operate within a team-oriented environment
  • Demonstrated commitment, teamwork, and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian.
  • High energy level, focus and ability to work well in demanding client environments
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership, problem solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Unquestionable professional integrity, credibility, and character
Bonus points if you have:
  • Experience in selling Technology Services such as consulting and development services, Cloud enablement migration and modernization and Public Cloud managed services with one or more of the major cloud providers
  • SAP sales, Digital sales, Cloud sales
  • Experience working within G2000 customers
