Job Description

Summary:

The Local Market Lead (LML) role is a critical role that directly drives key aspects of our geographic business, community, and people agendas. The person in this role will be working closely with the Office Managing Directors, local Accenture Workplace Solutions, Marketing + Communications, Human Resources, Corporate Citizenship, Inclusion & Diversity, and more to engage our people, manage local operations, and grow our business to achieve a positive location experience and outcomes.

The Philadelphia Metro LML will cover locations across Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey and Delaware supporting our Philadelphia and Pittsburgh Office Managing Directors (OMD) and associated teams.

Focus Areas:

Market Development
  • Grow our Philadelphia Metro business by leveraging relationships and memberships with business organizations focused on our clients
Community Involvement
  • Lead activation with community partners such as nonprofits through activities like pro bono, cash grants, volunteering, sponsorships, board representation, etc.
Employee Experience
  • Enhance employee engagement through events across career levels around Inclusion & Diversity (I&D), professional development, networking, learning, and HR
Local Operations
  • Serve as Chief of Staff to OMD and coordinate internal operational divisions and activities that support the goals of the office
Key Responsibilities:

Market Development
  • Serve as relationship manager to key business or civic organization(s), especially where OMD and local MDs serve on the board
  • Understand existing relationship matrix for key/target clients to advance market priorities
  • Connect our people to opportunities in the community (e.g., boards, committees, etc.) for relationship development
  • Own alumni agenda
  • Serve personally on board of a key business or civic organization (where applicable)
Community Involvement
  • Work with Corporate Citizenship Lead(s) to drive NA Corporate Citizenship strategy into local market
  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize sponsorships, board participation and ecosystem partner opportunities
  • Provide leadership for large scale events like Day/Week/Season of Service, Hour of Code, Annual Giving Campaign, and other key volunteer events
Employee Experience
  • Create and execute unique engagement experiences for our employees
  • Curate the MD experience
  • Lead local "People Council" (or equivalent group)
  • Champion I&D agenda
  • Champion Learning agenda (e.g., RISE, Lunch & Learns, local trainings, etc.)
  • Present at new joiner orientation
Local Operations
  • Drive the location & OMD agenda
  • Interlock with Local / Market Unit Marketing Lead & Innovation Hub Lead ensuring alignment / awareness on all local events and local Innovation investments (where applicable)
  • Drive operational excellence
  • Lead local "City Council" (or equivalent leadership group)
  • Serve as key connector internally and externally
  • Liaise with internal teams (e.g., Workplace, Local Technology Support (LTS), HR, Recruiting, M+C, etc.)
  • Manage Internal Community Engagement budget and others
Unique Projects may include:
  • Lead office wide employee events unique to a given location (e.g., Creative Collisions, Hersheypark, Philadelphia Zoo, Houston Rodeo, Great America, etc.)
  • Lead key NA events (e.g., International Women's Day Celebration, Juneteenth, MLK, etc.)
  • Support Local Talent Priorities (e.g. just in time skilling)
  • Support local initiatives
  • Support integration with Innovation Hubs (including launches, etc.)
  • Provide virtual support for additional locations (if applicable)
  • Support impact hiring (including our Apprenticeship programs)
  • Lead one-time local client or marketplace event (e.g., US Open, BMW Championship, Superbowl Host Committee, etc.)

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years Accenture experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong program management skills
  • Working knowledge of Accenture budgeting and reporting processes

As required by theColorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only , the range of starting pay for this role is

$113,400 - $171,599 and information on benefits offered is here.
