Innovation Designers bring together the best in thought leadership, demonstrations, use cases, and design thinking to design curated content, sessions and experiences with our clients. Innovation Designers are skilled facilitators that can engage a room, ask deep probing questions that get to the root cause of client challenges, drive successful sessions that meet expected outcomes, and exceed client expectations. Lastly, Innovation Designers provide innovation advisory to both our accounts and our clients through sharing of the latest in innovation applied, new business models, partnerships and innovation services to help drive a holistic and collaborative approach to driving innovation.

DESIGN & EXECUTION
  • Own Innovation Design craft outputs, ensuring each deliverable is high quality
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of innovation work with key client account teams (within domain of expertise)
  • Lead and facilitate high impact and c-suite level engagements and workshops (both virtual and in-person)
  • Create innovative, creative solutions that challenge the norm to meet clients' requirements and create value throughout innovation engagements
  • Oversee work quality; conduct interim reviews of templates and deliverables to ensure high quality of output
  • Manage and advise junior designers, including reviewing deliverables, managing capacity, and career mentorship
  • Work with the Client Innovation leadership team to support development of new services offerings and improvements to current offerings that align to the Market Unit, Hub mission and current local market conditions/needs
COLLABORATE & CONNECT
  • Be an advocate and spokesperson who represents and markets the Hub at a local, regional and global level inside and outside of Accenture
  • Stay connected to leading work in Accenture, demos, client stories, and assets to bring best of Accenture into your work
  • Build and maintain local, regional and global connections and relationships to Accenture's Innovation Design network as well as domain of expertise
  • Collaborate and cross pollinate across the network of Hub centers/locations
  • Facilitate and contribute to the creation, adoption and improvement of innovation services, assets, and guidelines
  • Provide support to business development, sales and delivery teams in scoping new projects taking a one Accenture approach - including articulating the approach, deliverables, timeline and resourcing requirements as part of innovation focused deals
  • Responsible for helping to drive sales and originate opportunities

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 2-4 years experience in co-creation and creative problem solving as a design, design research or design strategy professional, or in a related role
CORE MANAGEMENT CONSULTING SKILLS
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Quantitative & qualitative value-case development
  • Client relationship skills and strong business development acumen
  • Confident to author, facilitate and produce client visits and workshops independently
PREFERRED SKILLS
  • Design research methods (Interviewing, ethnography, leading focus-type groups)
  • Workshop facilitation and creative collaboration
  • Design-led thinking, problem-solving, and instruction
  • Good design process, innovation methodologies & tools, agile, storytelling, data and analytics tools and approaches
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving and evolving environment
  • Ruthless attention to detail
  • Engaged in knowledge sharing best practices
