Qualifications

  • Experience with a vast array for SCADA systems; ClearSCADA, Wonderware, Ignition, ICONICS, Cygnet, Citect to name a few.
  • Experience in Electric Utility SCADA /ADMS/EMS platforms from vendors like GE/Alstom/Schneider Electric/OSI/Siemens
  • Experience in SCADA protocols like DNP3/Vancomm/IEC 61850/ICCP
  • Ability to interface and collaborate with information technology to ensure proper requirements are met.
  • Experience in integrations with GIS/Enterprise Historians
  • Ability to understand and develop PLC logic standards to work in cooperation with the SCADA system to meet client demands.
  • Familiarity with integration of SCADA with field devices like RTU/ Data concentrators/ Distribution Automation devices over various communication technologies
  • Understanding of data collection and communication to various end devices like SQL, OSI Pi and others.
  • Experience with overseeing and managing SCADA implementation for a wide array of clients.
  • Experience with the commissioning of automation systems from plant floor through the SCADA system.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues across many differing SCADA platforms both in a remote role and on the ground level.
  • Proven record of successful project management in the automation space.
  • Ability to both manage and support commissioning teams with the implementation of field SCADA systems and management of punch list activities that arise.
  • Executive presence, origination & business development, proposal and narrative developments skills a plus
  • 8+ years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree
