A Record-to-Report subject matter expert, who is excited to design the vision and strategy for the Record-to-Report function in our client's CFO organization. You'll bring your experience in designing future state processes for Record-to-Report, as well as implementing the processes. You understand the current issues facing Finance & Accounting organizations, including cost to serve pressures in addition to experience designing and implementing leading practice Record-to-Report processes.
A Contract-to-Revenue subject matter expert, with hands-on experience in designing Revenue Recognition Solutions in compliance with FASB ASC 606 and IFRS 15, Revenue from Contracts with Customers . You'll bring your experience in the design of end-to-end revenue use cases, solution requirements, end-to-end process flows, and revenue data analytics. You will bring your experience to support the technical accounting function and Controller in developing simple solutions that reduce compliance risk.
The work:
- Provides solutions to complex business problems and/or transformation opportunities in the record-to-report and contract-to-revenue process areas, with a focus on continuous close / close optimization, intercompany processing, allocations, accruals, and revenues
- Leads / supports Accenture in creating strategies and blueprints that use Artificial Intelligence, Robotics Process Optimization, and Data Driven Process Design
- Interacts with CFOs, controllers, global process owners, and technical accounting leadership at clients, which may include negotiating or influencing strategic and key design decisions
- Manages large teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture
- Has latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments.
- Walks clients through digital transformations, helping find operational efficiencies and new revenue streams
- Draws upon knowledge of core Record-to-Report processes, issues, and tools to perform analyses of client processes and actively engage in client Controllership discussions
- Assesses the current state, identifies process gaps against leading practices, identifies and integrates process improvement opportunities, develops recommendations, roadmap, and the supporting business case.
- Facilitates discussions and workshops with senior level clients to review the evaluation of processes, recommended improvement opportunities, and proposed roadmap
- Manages engagement risk, project economics including planning and budgeting, manage account receivables, define deliverable content, ensure buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client
- Attracts new business by creating thoughtful proposals and building strong client relationships
- Serves as a trusted advisor to senior leadership
- Stays on top of current regulations, trends, and technologies influencing digital finance, analytics, and the CFO ecosystem

Qualifications
Here's what you need:
- Minimum 5 years of management consulting experience. Experience must include significant engagement management as well as business, practice, and people development
- You've transformed finance and accounting, revenue, and/or reporting solutions with clients
- Record-to-Report process transformation and/or shared services project experience
- Contract-to-Revenue process design, solution design, and/or solution implementation experience - Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate with clients, lead key requirement workshops, document requirements, and articulate the value proposition and business case for Record-to-Report solutions
- You have experience leading projects and/or teams
- Bachelor's Degree
- CPA or CA qualified
- Solid project management experience including defining scope, setting project timelines and milestone, driving deliverables, identifying risks, managing issues, and client relationship management
- Strong competence in developing executive level presentations required (MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel))
- Experience with revenue applications (Zuora RevPro, SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting, Oracle Revenue Management Cloud Service, others)
- You're comfortable with ERP technology and know your way around SAP, Oracle, Workday
- Prior experience working in Finance operationally as part of an accounting organization
- You've got an MBA after your name or another type of advanced degree
