The work:

• Maintain knowledge and understanding in big data analytics and reporting, financial robotics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning, reskilling the workforce based on emerging capabilities, and ERP capabilities.
• Deliver financial system management advisory services to U.S. Federal government clients.
• Provide subject matter technical knowledge of financial systems for the purposes of performing financial statement analysis and assessments; reviewing, analyzing, validating, and reconciling financial/accounting information, business process improvement, etc.
• Review draft deliverables prepared by engagement teams and present final results to Federal Clients, ownership of the project plan, responsibility for all deliverables, day to day interactions with the client, and providing guidance to less experienced team members.

Qualifications

Here's what you need:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 7 years experience with Financial Management such as Record to Report, Sales to Cash, Requisition to Pay, Forecasting, Budgeting & Pricing, and Time and Expense, Government Cost Accounting Standards, Federal Acquisition Regulation, and/or Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Experience with Tableau, Qlik, Hyperion or Oracle
• Experience working with Federal accounting standards/Federal Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the ability to determine the appropriate proprietary accounting treatment for all client work activities.
• Knowledge of Federal Financial Accounting Standings (SFFAS) And United States Standard General Ledger (USSGL)
• Experience with: ownership of a project plan, providing client deliverables, direct client interactions, providing tangible result or presenting at Executive level.

Bonus points if you have:

• Masters in: Business Administration / Finance / Economics/ Accounting
• Knowledge of U.S. Government Financial Accounting Systems and Financial Statements, Government Cost Accounting Standards, Federal Acquisition Regulation, and/or Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Record to Report, Sales to Cash, Requisition to Pay, Forecasting, Budgeting & Pricing, and Time and Expense.
• Experienced with managing project financials and risk mitigation; experienced with managing more than one project or scope of work concurrently; Contributes to building the practice by direct involvement with recruiting, interviewing, training, and mentoring the supply of talent or by generating demand through Client Socialization, Points of View, Requests for Information, and Requests for Proposal.
