The Environmental Program Manager will support Government related O M, construction, design build, and architecture and engineering projects. Support the Government in the following areas. Visit job sites to conduct audits on Storm Water Pollution Prevention. Evaluate, assess, and alter environmental procedures policies for the benefit of employees clients. Evaluate recommend hazardous material and waste inventory processes. Research implement new material handling processes. Ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies and standards including OSHA, EPA, ADEM etc. Research environmental regulations and policies institute changes to ensure compliance. Track incident metrics and apply findings. Oversee the applications for receipt of necessary permits. Manage develop safety plans, including coordination of audits, integrated field team communications, and corrective actions where needed. Works under the general direction of a PM and or COR. Provide senior level, program management of large scale management studies. Provides QA QC of deliverables including modeling and report writing efforts. Participates in design review conferences, reviews preliminary plans and specifications prior to advertisement for practicability, anticipated physical obstructions and other construction safety considerations. Review s construction administration correspondence and reports on construction status and progress relative to safety of the project. Makes recommendations relative to most practical methods of accomplishing the desired results. Provides oversight and inspection of construction operations to ensure proper protection measures are in place for material and equipment, workmanship, adequacy of contractor s methods, procedures, and operations to ensure that the work is carried out in accordance to plans and specifications.

Qualifications
Bachelor s Degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, or other related field.
Professional certifications required. Examples include HAZWOPER
8 years of environmental project experience, including environmental sampling and subcontractor oversight.
State certification as a Qualified SWPPP Developer Practitioner QSD QSP must be obtained within one year of hire.
Knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards with regard to construction and operational facilities.
Knowledge of specifications and building codes used in large commercial, industrial and public works construction projects.
Knowledge in the full range of HTRW activities from investigations, to studies, designs, remediation, short term operations and maintenance
Knowledgeable of all laws, regulations and specifications relating to the environmental surroundings of the project and ensures by surveillance that contractors strictly adhere to these environmental requirements.
