As Group Director, you'll inspire and challenge your studio leadership team and be responsible and accountable for impact and outcomes within your studio. You'll also lead program points of view and liaise with other Group Directors globally to facilitate knowledge sharing and inspiration.

Role Description

A professional in this position, at this level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:
  • Rally teams around a purpose and vision, creates the conditions for them to do their jobs effectively and know when to lead and when to serve.
  • Demonstrate the ability to see the business clearly and recognize course of action.
  • Recognize the importance of key metrics and understand the information and management required to achieve and maintain performance metrics.
  • Deeply understand the market and can speak to our clients and the industry about our content, craft, and trends fluently and convincingly.
  • Demonstrate emotional intelligence and embody Fjord values through words and actions.
  • Drive business impact by organizing for growth and bringing great opportunities to great people.
  • Lead points of view, proposal creation, and relationship management across key clients.
  • Oversee the management and overall financial performance of this unit.
  • Proactively interact with Accenture Interactive leadership and relevant client account leads in the identification, negotiation and delivery of all joint opportunities.
  • Create a studio culture that values design quality and outcomes across studio portfolio.
  • Manage at least one key studio account and oversee strategic direction and output of all projects for that account. Establish and lead client and account relationships for successful account growth.
  • Present at conferences as a Fjord ambassador

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

These are the minimum requirements for an aspirant to be considered for the position applying to:
  • 12+ years of relevant industry experience; demonstrated experience leading a material multidiscipline design practice.
  • 5+ years of managerial experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a design discipline; a master's degree is preferred.
  • Ability to learn new software quickly; experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision, Axure, Confluence, or JIRA is a plus.
  • Knowledge of and curiosity about technology and its impact on design solutions.
  • Proven history of managing across disciplines to create a powerful, effective, and high-performing team.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with running and growing a design studio or creative consultancy.
  • Excellent leadership skills, problem resolution abilities, and good judgment.
  • Highly proactive with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, high integrity, pragmatism, professionalism, and efficiency.
