Job Description

As a Business Support Analyst, you will be responsible for utilizing data analytics practices to identify opportunities for improvement, validate hypotheses, and support the needs of the operations team. You will also communicate complex analytical information in an easily understandable manner, empowering the operations team to make informed decisions . You will use your problem-solving skills to continuously deliver value to our clients, while making a larger impact on society.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Participate in Agile Scrum practices, including continuous improvement of the sprint process
  • Support the operations team in client discussions where necessary to offer a data driven perspective
  • Support ongoing organization level improvements via Business Excellence practices
  • Interface effectively with other teams, delivery lead, client team and other key stakeholders
  • Share information required for the team to be successful
Location

The work is currently virtual/remote for an undetermined time. Once the client returns to the office, the work will be based in Austin, TX. Relocation assistance is not provided.

Hours & Shifts

The role requires availability to work 5 out of 7 days a week, with two days off per week. Given the nature of our business being 24/7, 365 days a year, incumbents will need to bring a degree of flexibility, and remain open to working different hours, shifts/rotating shifts, including holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years operational experience or
  • Minimum of 1 year data analytics or business analytics experience
Preferred Skills / Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Proven Experience with Python, SQL
  • Demonstrated understanding of operational metric concepts
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Proven experience working with large complex datasets
  • Be open and flexible to new ideas that may alter team goal
  • Experience working with cross functional teams stakeholder groups
Professional Skills
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), facilitation, and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for ensuring a world class user support experience
  • Quick learner and adaptable to learn new processes, concepts, and skills
