Application Development Manager (Accenture LLP; Detroit, MI): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Application Development Manager in Detroit, MI to handle the process of detail out best practice for data loading & transformation. S/he will perform the following duties: Requirement Elicitation Management; conduct Process Planning; Scope / Time / Effort Estimation and Forecasting; coordination and facilitation amongst various SME and Stakeholders and oversee the work in terms of traceability; review of Business Requirement Specifications Document / Requirement Traceability Worksheet / Requirement Inventory Log sheet; oversee application and architect data loading strategy for Business Intelligence and Data warehousing projects; integrate Duck Creek product with ETL; ensure maintenance activities are in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) or other business requirements; lead code and quality management reviews; team with stakeholders on application and component design; initiate a roadmap for ETL delivery & track the timelines; oversee project plan & ensure status is tracked for every work product along with the resource assignment; perform impact analysis to determine the scope of the project delivery; assist Data modelers with ETL practices to ensure tighter integration; oversee and fix any defects or performance problems discovered in testing; partner with the testing team to ensure applications / components are fully functional; testing Exercise Activity Sequencing and Activity Planning; testing exercise scope / time / effort estimation; and defect triaging and test metrics calculation.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires at least a bachelor's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering (any), or in a closely related field plus 6 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience as an Application Development Analyst, Software Engineer, Software Developer or in a related IT position. This position also requires the following professional experience: 6 years of experience implementing or supporting Duck Creek Policy Administration system; 5 years of experience in supporting Informatica Power Center and Insurance Policy Admin and Claims system; 4 years of experience in supporting Microsoft SQL Server and IBM DB2 Databases and online batch; 3 years of experience in UNIX scripting to design, develop, and support the batch operations; and 2 years of experience in C#. Net and Duck Creek Data Insights to design and develop Duck Creek Policy Administration system data migration to Enterprise Datawarehouse and reporting applications.
