Application Development Manager (Accenture LLP; Arlington, VA): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Application Development Manager in Arlington, VA to interact with clients to gather requirements. S/he will perform the following duties: plan and develop new proposed changes; analyze requirements and develop application design specification; build and test technical solutions to deliver business value for the SAFe Program Increment (PI); perform troubleshooting of technical issues during deployment and post deployment phase; develop, code, maintain and support web applications that follow development standards; integrate various functionalities from front-end programming; implement consistently accessible markup with the goal of supporting Section 508 conformance; evaluate, test and validate technologies developed Section 508 compliance by using available testing tools and checklists; work with the Scrum Master/Product Owner to prioritize the items from the product backlog in the sprint planning and responsible for all the activities that lead them towards their sprint goals; lead a team and guide resources who are new to the development and environment of front-end technologies; optimize features and applications to ensure fast loading speeds.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires at least a bachelor's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering (any), or in a closely related field, plus 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience as Application Development Associate Manager, Software Engineering Team Lead, Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer or in a related IT position. This position also requires the following professional experience: 4 years of experience utilizing Software Development Life Cycle to create software applications and develop processes into tasks that can then be assigned, completed and measured; 5 years of experience with Application development skills & Unit testing; 3 years of experience with Angular/Node Js and Java based technologies for building web, desktop, mobile applications, fast and scalable network applications and to create modular programs and reusable code; 4 years of experience with Design Patterns utilized in application designs; and 3 years of experience with Agile methodology to design and develop incrementally.

Telecommuting is permitted for this role; need to reside within a reasonable commuting distance from the assigned Accenture office.
