Application Cloud Support Engineering Manager (Accenture LLP; Hartford, CT): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Application Cloud Support Engineering Manager in Hartford, CT to deploy and automate infrastructure setup using DevOps tools for application configuration. S/he will perform the following duties: Prepare implementation plan for product releases and work on their architecture design as part of Information Technology Service Management practices;. collaborate with clients to identify continuous improvement opportunities and brainstorm on solutions to remediate them. Create and maintain the Cloud Infrastructure assets; review team members work items before submitting to the client, conduct root cause analysis of critical issues and provides recommendations to the client; support Cloud Native application development and engineering operations; create weekly and monthly status reports for senior management; Perform requirements analysis, provide Technical Architecture, High Level Design and Test deliverables that are customized as per the client's requirements to support mission critical and customer facing applications; Design, build and implement complex applications and solutions by translating technical specifications into program code and configurations by applying knowledge of DevOps toolsets; Design, build and implement continuous integration and delivery pipeline using scripting languages and industry migration tools. Ensure code changes made automatically triggers code quality checks, run automated unit tests and send feedback to ensure stable, tested code and assure fitness for go live; Provide Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in critical business areas to help achieve progressive growth and positive outcomes to the client in application deployment and support; Define DevOps Strategy to perform code migration, semantic versioning, enable mapping of source code and binary deployable packages, maintain release notes with compatibility, migration schedules, application release period, maintain internal and external dependencies and release strategies.

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires at least a bachelor's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering (any), or in a closely related field, plus 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience as an Application Cloud Support Specialist, Application Development Senior Analyst, Software Engineer or in a related IT position. This position also requires the following professional experience: 5 years of experience in IT service delivery for design, development, implementation and support of business applications; 4 years of experience implementing and supporting DevOps for Continuous Integration and Continuous deployment for Corporate Enterprise level Systems; 3 years of experience implementing Continuous Integration and Delivery pipeline using DevOps tools and scripting languages (e.g. Python, Groovy) for multiple line of businesses; 2 years of experience in implementing or supporting Cloud operations used for IT Infrastructure using different cloud platforms such as Pivotal cloud foundry, OpenShift , or AWS); and 4 years of experience in server automations and application release management tools.
