Advanced Application Engineering Manager (Accenture LLP; Philadelphia, PA): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Advanced Application Engineering Manager in Philadelphia, PA and the job duties are as follows:

• Manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope.
• Develop or update project plans for information technology projects, including information such as project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing.
• Develop system specifications and interfaces for moderately complex components.
• Create operational documentation for the application.
• Provide primary support for installation of application releases into production.
• Maintain applications according to SLAs.
• Work across the Service Delivery Lifecycle on engineering solutions for new system rollouts, major/minor enhancements, and/or ongoing maintenance of existing applications.
• Understand strategic direction set by senior management and implement methods and procedures set by management.
• Work with team members to gather and interpret user/system requirements into design specifications.

Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Bioinformatics, Engineering or related field, plus 8 years of experience (of which 5 years must be progressive post-baccalaureate experience) in the IT consulting industry.

Of the required experience, 8 years of experience must be in each of the following:

• Software development and software testing methodologies along with change and configuration management practices in Linux-based environments;
• Delivering DevOps assessment and roadmap;
• DevOps technologies and concepts;
• Scripting; and
• Collecting logs and integrating with security analysis tools.

Of the required experience, 6 years of experience must be in each of the following:

• Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices; and
• Cloud environments - including Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Of the required experience, 4 years of experience must be in each of the following:

• Container-based environment;
• DevOps solution delivery and strategy; and
• Design patterns and refactoring concept.

Of the required experience, 3 years of experience must be in each of the following:

• Jenkins, Bamboo, or TeamCity;
• At least two of the following: XL Deploy, XL Release, uDeploy, Electric Cloud, and/or Automic; and
• Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.

Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically up to approximately 75% of the time to meet client needs.
