Facility Manager Bilingual (Korean/English) – Holland, MI

The Facility Manager will perform all tasks associated with day-to-day janitorial and facility management operations, including but not limited to building operations, staff management, customer relations, contract compliance, technical reviews, Facility Condition Assessments, and other related services in the real estate life cycle and capital planning of properties. This role requires close communication with the client, a deep understanding of their needs, and the ability to respond quickly and effectively. Strong leadership to manage on-site staff is essential.

During on-site inspections and assessments, the Facility Manager will prepare accurate written reports, document findings, and ensure timely input into the CMMS system.

Language & Cultural Skills

  • Bilingual proficiency in Korean preferred (understanding Korean corporate culture is highly valuable).
  • Spanish proficiency is a plus, but not a requirement.

*Relocation allowance with this position- This position is located in Holland; MI and you must be willing to relocate.   

  • Pay: – $85,000 to $100,000 The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. You may be eligible to participate in a Company incentive or bonus program.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Functions

  • Act as lead contact for all facility management services, ensuring service quality and continuous improvement.
  • Manage preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Oversee daily operations and management of 45–55 staff members.
  • Ensure all contract requirements are met and exceeded.
  • Manage quality assurance and customer expectations, ensuring strong client satisfaction.
  • Accurately assess facility conditions and estimate costs for repairs/renovations.
  • Maintain data integrity in the CMMS system for compliance and reporting.
  • Define requirements for problem-solving, master planning, and credible facility data delivery.
  • Build and manage strong client relationships, identifying solutions to meet evolving needs.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in dynamic environments, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Manage multiple tasks and priorities with strong organizational skills.
  • Take accountability for outcomes, proactively address challenges, and drive improvement.
  • Determine life cycle and replacement values.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Minimum Education and/or Experience Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in facility or operations management (janitorial or plant management experience preferred).
  • Proven experience managing a large, multi-craft staff.
  • Experience with large-scale facilities (3M+ sq. ft.).
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritize in fast-paced environments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Korean strongly preferred.
