Come join our Automotive Services Department as a Resource Planning Supervisor where you will be responsible for leading and motivating a multi-site team whose focus will be forecasting and scheduling for all Fleet & Fleet Dispatch locations.

What you will be doing:
  • Identify and utilize workforce management (WFM) software (or alternatives as needed)
  • Ensure that all scheduling records/changes are accurate, up to date, and communicated in a timely manner to the appropriate parties in Fleet.
  • Actively communicate with Fleet Management and Fleet Dispatch management to fully understand business needs and staffing challenges. I
  • Identify and recommend to Fleet management short and long-term needs for additional resources as determined through analysis of staffing trends to ensure performance targets are met.
  • Manage the vendor relationship with Fleet Management Team to ensure satisfaction with services.
  • Work with Fleet management to maintain accurate inventory of trucks and equipment and makes recommendations for additions as determined by staffing trends and data.
  • Create and disseminate various reports for use by Fleet Management.
  • Analyze trends, including call volume, call patterns, staff productivity, attrition rates, and resource allocation.
  • Use Workforce Management software to produce holiday and seasonal staffing needs and staff schedules.
  • Conduct analysis for days when all business line service goals are not achieved and provides a detailed post mortem that identifies root cause.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Associate or Bachelors' Degree in Business Administration; equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced telephone/dispatch operation center.
  • 1 year of experience in a supervisory, coaching or leadership role.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Proficient with the use of workforce management software.
  • Fundamental knowledge of/or experience in workforce operations.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving and communication skills to enable accurate completion of assignments and effective interaction with others.
  • Effective interpersonal presentation skills.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in analytical, organization, communication, planning, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently, lead and provide guidance to others.
  • Willingness and ability to travel to assigned offices as needed.
